Uganda and East Africa’s most-followed TikToker Angella Summer Namubiru hasn’t felt a bit more special from the video-focused social networking service, since they haven’t verified her.
Angella Summer is a Ugandan artist under City Rock Entertainment, a girls’ trio that is popularly known for its hit singles like Lino Kona and Teddy Tereza with King Saha.
Angella’s content on TikTok exhibits the culture and the prettiness of a proud young African girl which has gerned her over 5 Million followers making her the most followed Ugandan on TikTok and in East Africa at large.
Even though the young black queen has this huge following, there are still some questions we ask ourselves as to why she hasn’t been given a TikTok blue tick.
The first thing to note here is, that you can not apply to be considered for verification on TikTok just like on Twitter or Facebook.
Rather, the TikTok crew looks for accounts that may need verification and grants them on their initiative.
