The Anthem Awards announced this week that Dreamville Studios’ The Messenger Podcast has been included among the finalists alongside The Daily Show With Trevor Noah, Sesame Workshop Coming Together; Netflix’s We The People, and Participant Media’s Save the Hampton House project, inspired by Judas and the Black Messiah.
The Messenger podcast by brought up by Bobi Wine‘s struggle to literate Ugandans, accompanied with Bas a Dreamville artist.
Presented by the Webby Awards, the Anthem Awards celebrate the purpose and mission-driven work of individuals, companies, and organizations worldwide across categories like diversity and inclusion; education, art and culture, and civil and human rights.
Winners for the inaugural Anthem Awards will be announced on February 15th and a virtual awards show will be held on February 28th.
